Pictures...
some pics will start to filter in now...
this morning was interesting, i now have my rowing machine, and my wife made a great liquid breakfast (smoothy) and i did:
- 150 turns on the rowing machine (how many times i go backwards on the seat)
- 6 push ups
- 10 tummy crunches 4 of which were with my son on top!
i know its not a huge amount, but it was fun, and i broke a sweat, but nothing like the workouts i will have a few weeks from now... :)
my family seems to think its all fun and games too... so its really quite enjoyable to have that support! :)

Update...
Well, the silence does not mean that i have stopped...
the last week has been lots of hard work... studies... and my exercise has consisted of jogging to uni (usually because i was a little late!)
but yesterday i bought my little Rowing machine, and set it up at home...
2.5km every morning, and 2.5km every evening. i did 1km last night just to get used to it, and it is a nice work out... will put some pics up when i can.
overall, I'm getting there... now i need a actual bike!
oh, and when i weighed myself, somehow i found that i have lost 1kg! wohoo! :) just from jogging!? lol
anyway, keep an eye out... this is gonna get interesting as the days go on...

First Donation!
I am a very happy bunny.... :)
I would like to take a moment to Thank Clyde Moore, my pastor from when i lived in Wales, for having the courage to sponsor me! :)
its lifted my spirits and renewed my strengths....
I don't expect to become a lean, mean, Paris riding machine, over night but certainly am working on how I'm going to get to the challenge fit and ready to step up to the line... :)
Thank you again Pastor, and God Bless you in your work, and I will ride to make you all in Wales proud! :)

Work outs...
Hey, does cleaning the house count as a work out?
Yesterday I had a two hour session running around the house trying to make it clean... and at the end i stopped for a breather and was sweating like mad!
today I had the same thing.... but today I have the clothes to fold too....
whew.... maybe my wife is doing like Mr. Miyagi from Karate kid.... "wax on, wax off..."
hey... she DID buy some car wax the other day! LOL.... sudden realisation here!
this all counts as training right? :)

Organisation...
Today after uni, tried to find my "work out" gear.... (yes I used to have that stuff...)
Found a couple of bits around the house.....

Thinking, starting gently:
Morning:
15 Min stretching when my son allows me to...
5 push ups,
5 sit ups,
5 stomach crunches,
and laying on my back 10 weight lifts (2kg either side, out stretched arms to the middle... see video later ;p )
evening, light meal followed by:
15 Min stretch,
5 sit ups,
10 weight lifts,
shower and bed cuz I've got uni in the morning.... :)
don't mock the fat guy.... im gonna work my way up you'll see! :)

Week 1
Gonna start with my weight....
Its no secret that I am over weight, so right now its time to make things right...
Yes, im heavy... no jokes please :)
I have to reduce the weight to at least 80 - 82Kg... thats my ideal for my height...
And its easier load to carry for 4 days! ;)
My wife is prepping a meal plan for me, and is supporting me as much as she can! :) she even comes with me on my morning walks!
(I do walk for 20 min to uni and 20 min back every day... this is just the start... i have to get the weights out and do the crunches, push ups etc... oh boy! )
Till Tomorrow!
Have a look at the organisers site... heres what im doing... :)

The beginning....
This is the next step in my commitment to the 25000spins challenge of cycling from London to Paris over 4 days, 233miles, to raise money for ADRA UK.
From here you can watch my training progress, and maybe make pointers about how to improve my training and have a laugh as a struggle and try to do all the things right... :)
I currently weigh in at .... I will check in the morning when I'm empty.. ;)
I will also do my measurements in the morning to make sure that I have more realistic measurements... (i ate just now, spaghetti and vegi-balls that my wife made, with courgette bake that I made yumm! :p )
So over the next few days I will document my training routine and see how we get on! :)
